When discussing national pride,war,security,policy,politics on this thread you must remember that more than a few of the posters here are anti-American and no amount of reasoning will overcome that.They relish the thought of servicemen being killed that is what democrats are all about.They hate the military and would love to see the US take a huge smack,they are and have been all about that for at least 35 years now,remember these pukes that wear the dem label are the same people who demonstrated against anything pro USA for many years They are our media,our pols and our judges could take another twenty years for all these sick sad socialist America bashing clinton loving dems to die,that is good for the USA!

The point is not a claim that the U.S. can't win, the point is the total lack of support for Cheney's mission.

Cheney's leading candidate to replace Saddam is General Nizar Khazraji currently in exile in Denmark. This general was in charge of the army section which gassed the Kurds in the late 1980s. So much for discouraging weapons of mass destruction.
