No. I honestly believe that they didn't understand the implications of tickling an epitope of CD2, and had interest in other parts of the pipeline that subsequently failed.

They had used it as a hammer for GvH, and I don't believe that rationale could penetrate a given ego at MEDI.

I believe that they're rushing like crazy to make up for lost time. Hope so.

But..... the bottom line is that they sort of "made up" the conclusions in that phase II PR. The results from the i.v. trial were sort of massaged to fit the assumption of what should be, given the subcutaneous results and (IMO) the entrenched ego. With one more brain, MEDI could have been an enormous success story.

PROVE ME WRONG, JIMMIE!
