I heard the most appalling caller on a talk show that was on while I scrubbed the kitchen floor (gratuitous mention of this to impress everyone that I am a hard-working and productive person at times).
Not only did she say that Yates deserved the death penalty, but that it was probably a good thing her children were dead because they would have grown up crazy too.
I had to turn the radio off and cry. It is so terrifying-- the limitations of the human mind.

And I'm for it but for this woman, she needs to spend her life where they wear paper slippers. Neither death or prison is right for her.
