Admittedly, I did not follow the testimony closely. However, it is my understanding that her actions surrounding the murders showed the cognitive functions of a sane person, according to the statute. The elements of insanity were not sold to the jury's satisfaction.

Anyway, she murdered her five little kids and I honestly can't get too worked up over her punishment.
