OT:

you might want to give the atguard feature to block all java scripts a try

you set it up site by site in a similar manner to coookie blocking

some sites need the script; for example, the CBOE site uses java script to load some links I want to use. in that case you go in and manually change the java script box to only suppress pop-ups

OTOH, many many sites load twice as fast with the scripts blocked with no apparent harm - NYTimes and RealMoney are two such sites - don't know what they do with the script, but it saves you time to get rid of it
