So no trend is demonstrable, but we've still got a problem? May I point out that Sex (as in "Sex between the Bushes") came from at best a middle class and probably a lower middle class background? Does this count for nothing? Reagan also started out at the low end of the economic scale and with no political forebears. Look, you may be upset at the outcome of the last election, but that doesn't mean American democracy is dead. If you think otherwise, maybe you should team up with thames_sider. He seems to think the US and N. Korea are the only operating hereditary monarchies.
