Net income for the fourth quarter increased 37% to $8,228,000 from $6,021,000 in the same quarter last year. For the year, net income increased 32% to $19,629,000 from $14,849,000 in 2000. Earnings per share for the fourth quarter, on a diluted basis, rose 23% to $0.32 from $0.26 in the year-earlier quarter. For the year, earnings per share, on a diluted basis, rose 25% to $0.81 from $0.65 in 2000. All foregoing per share results are adjusted to reflect the distributions of a five-for-four stock split in June 2001 and a three-for-two stock split in February 2002
