I mean it somehow demonizes every (semi-)developed country on Earth --that is, in "the reality of a changed geopolitical environment", as you put it... Your "mopping list" might eventually include your current allies, your foul-weather friends, even Israel.... Err.. who's gonna succor the US in its worldwide, holy crusade against terror? Do you have some alien allies we've not heard of yet? Some awesome spaceship looming around the Moon? Has the US entered into a secret Galactic Alliance of sorts?? Oh! Christmas!
