ild, If Volcker takes solving this problem as a mission - he could be helpful in keeping Washington in line and cleaning up Wall Street. He has shown in his past he will do what he thinks is right and not succumb to political pressure. It is my opinion that the corporations are running scared and some are cleaning up there disclosures. Am looking for some fall out with those that continue to account for questionable but legal practices that do not provide a clear picture of the value of the entity. What comes to mind here is IBM's treatment of their sale of assets rolled into SG&A. Joan
