You know I'm not a big fan of the state sponsored death penalty. That said, as long as its the law I think it must be considered. This lady may be totally crazy but I think a lot of people evade harsh punishment with the "insanity" claim. Certainly anyone who would kill their kids has a screw loose. I'm just not sure thats enough to lower their sentence. We have just got to find a better way to REALLY punish these people. Life in prison just seems too easy for what she did.

I agree. It seems that often the wife is also being abused and is afraid to leave. I've often felt if they can't leave for themselves they surely should be able to get their kids away from that crap. We see it all the time though, don't we.
