Once again, your mixing politics and religion. The argument is to whether Islam is an inherently evil religion. My assertion is that it is not, and assertion that is supported by religious scholars and the current President.

There is no doubt that there are evil people who have distorted and twisted Islam into a vehicle of hate. We must make sure that we do not fall into their trap. We must differentiate the evildoers from the religion, and the vast majority of those who do not subscribe to their evil.

You seem to believe that someone owes you an explanation. You are the only one responsible for your understanding the world and its people. Don't abdicate that responsibility to the Murdock and the Fox News Network.

<< I don't hear people say, "Gee I want to become a Muslim, I just love what they stand for." >>

You're forgetting John Walker Lindh. Then again he may want to be converting to something else now.
