I posted this before. Take a look at it. google.com We don't NEED arab oil. Besides oil is too VALUABLE to burn as a fuel. Oil is the foundation of many products. Every gallon of oil we burn is a possible computer, plastic syringe, etc etc etc somewhere in the future. The country should convert the auto fleet to NG and if we did that we probably wouldn't have to import one drop of oil, ever. I believe that oil is only required for aviation fuel, because there's no other substitute. There's enough methane hydrates to last the planet something like 3000 years.
