technically the founding fathers believed freedom was granted by God, not this nation or our constitution. that is why the UN can never work. at any rate, i'm not so sure most of humanity wants our form of government or would be well suited to it. i can think of a billion muslims who might not want all of our "freedoms". to be completely honest, not all societies and cultures are well suited to democracy. it is naive and utopian to assume that they are, or that if given the chance they would choose it.
