ROFLMAO! Not quite up to the standards of a Hamas recruiting video though. ;o}

I read recently where Saddam has generously offered to up the bounties paid to the parents of suicide bombers by 25 k.

Oooo fah! No wonder the Palestinians have such a soft spot for him. :o{

classic in German child-rearing literature

I read the two reviews of the book at the Amazon site, and some of the "Grimm" Fairy tales sound familiar. The one about the little thumbsucker who had his thumbs cut off by the "ScisserMan" I had definitely read. It may be too "PC" for our present Generation, but I remember them as good fun for a fourth Grader. Of course, I, like most little boys, was a bloodthirsty 9 year old.

My husband's German grandmother threatened him many times that the Strewwelpeter would cut off his thumbs if he was bad. Freudian, no?
