It's a really stupid... ... comment. The war is not about resolving our feelings. It's about removing the threat to our society. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

You are a smart dude, I know you know the answer to this:
What means: 'Threat to freedom' 'liberty' or whatever?
I know everybody thinks I am a clown, but one time a dear friend said she was very afraid of W (the president) because of 'XKDFLDFKL dfsakj' and I said what means 'SCJLKJK DLFJ' turns out it was code talk for abortion. That's all I mean. I did not know the code talk? When they say 'freedom' what is that mean? Clue: IT is demo fear of what bush will do? I don't know what is all about. Is not easy admitting to be clueless but what means this? Lil help?

OK a lot of people think I am a dope and I don't blame them but I got a question nagging me and hopefully somebody can give me a straight answer. I just want a simple explanation for what does this mean? Please excuse me in advance because it is difficult to ask simple question, I am not from Mars, and I know peoples get very upset over this kind of talk, anyway I know that nowadays we have a thing called 'newspeak' which means code talk to avoid pissing people off.

All I want to know is this : SF Examiner (slight left of center paper) ask question: How is it different now from like it was like six months ago? What is the difference?

Well, the answer 81% respondents online poll small sample(I am not dumb) was that the big difference now is:
'Our freedoms are in danger' or 'Threat to our individual freedom' or something along this vein of talk.

The thing is (I know I am admitting my ignorance here but I really like to know what are they talking about?) : What does this mean? Can you just translate it into plain English? Like ONEWORD or TWO? They are not talking about smoking? are they?
