No need to invoke Jerry Garcia. I was a big fan. Should we re-install the Taliban so they can bring the warlords under control and re-establish peace, harmony, and tranquility? Perhaps pay al-Qaeda damages and issue a formal apology? That's probably just starters in your book. Maybe launch a terrorist attack on ourselves and destroy a major US city to make up for the lost time and averted attacks we cost al-Qaeda? We know there were several. You're worse than a bad a joke, with no appreciation for the dire consequences either of what has occurred or of the things you propose.
