Ahh, at last we agree. We did manage to remold Japan from a feudal monarchy into a damn strong economic power with at least some quirky style of democracy that seems to suit the Japanese people. Maybe the Afghans will come up with a form of democracy that fits their culture and belief. We need to help keep the boogiemen out until they can invent what works for them. Hopefully, we can assist in giving their people a taste of true freedom so that they can see what they have been missing.
