My daughter told me yesterday...."this i read in three books, so it must be so"....which means she at least questions the things she reads at the age of 14.... my reply was....it may very well be true ....but ...if you ever wrote a book there is a chance you would pass on that same "common knowledge" without ever knowing if it was factual.... Thankfully we are all more aware of the "fine" art of spin these days....that is something that the former administration can take a large amount of credit for ....along with the 94 congressional elections....
