I think we're teetering on a very fine edge. General economic reports seem to point that the recovery is in progress (albeit, slowly), but it's earnings that everyone seems to be hanging their hat on. If earnings don't pick up (or, at least, stay even) then the bears will be able to instill enough fear to bring things crashing down.

I agree that we're treading water, but there are still stocks to trade. Unfortunately, they return very little right now. No home runs, and the only way to get to first is by bunting. At least, that's what's happening to me. RK

NO , I was having a little discussion with Jeff in "da room"
the night ORCL reported....

he was of the mind this was the company to own etc
and was getting a little postal about it ....

I simply was trying to get Jeff to realize that if he wanted to own ORCL to simply wait , cause it was going to get a little cheaper ! hehe

Called KLAC short @ $70 , INVN @ $48+ , ADBE @ $40 ,
RFMD for a bounce from $18's the morning sell-off on the NOK warn , and went to $20+ , and NTAP caught it's push up to $22 and shorted as well....and EMLX played short as well.

didn't catch em all , but just getting back into the swing.

You know I'm just a trader Jeff...but OJ completely nailed EMLX , and that was a terrific call .

wonder if it can get to $20 ? ( might bounce to $30 first )
it will be an interesting one to watch ongoin .

;-)
