So!! What can we say or do to make you more motivated????

How about a swift kick in the ass. Or head. Right now, not even sure which is which<g/ng>

Actually, I tried sitting down at the wheel. Not so great. Only took two pieces of three attempts off the wheel and they aren't so great. My head just isn't right I suppose at this point. So back to what we discussed earlier, just do some of the cleaning and other smaller stuff that needs done.
I'm hoping my olldest brother comes over here today. I've decided to go out and buy a digitat. I'm a technomoron so I need some hand holding in this area.

I didn't know that porcelain was a lot different to work with...

Yeah, that's why most porcelain is done by molds. You can't leave it on the wheel too long. Meaning that it is really one of those things, three pulls and get it off the wheel. Not very plastic either. But if you bump up the ball clay just a little in the mixing, it will help. Only draw back is that the more you use the less white it is. But you can also make it very thin(if you're good) and it will actually fire transulcent so you can hold it to the light and see through it and the color of the glaze is so much more brilliant. Definitely, you should appreciate something spun of porcelain!!!! If done properly, you can really hear the piece sing. I've made a song or two before :)
