Yes, I can post colonialists are just so happy to commit the heresy of inference- which IS a heresy to new critics you aren't supposed to care what the author "meant" you are just supposed to look at the words so I can understand why the "idetity critics" (this covers all ethnic criticism- black, hispanic, etc, post colonialism and feminism) would have real problems with the critics who are into new criticism or deconstruction, or post deconstruction, etc I would expect most of the identity critics to get along though- except for fights over funding of course
