For e.g. the NAZ showed a bullish desc. wedge in summer '01 as I remember chart readers then indicated.

Quite a bit was talked about then on how the markets had become 'safe' (!).

The NAZ fell after that towards the April lows along with the S&P breaking the March lows prior to 9/11.

So chart readers (am one too), apply caution.
