do NOT generalize from either of these local economies to the whole country. They are NOT representative. They may not be representative now, but they are further along examples of what is starting to happen throughout the country. Call up charts of TOL, CTX, PHM, BZH, or any other homebuilder. They are all starting to roll over.

Unemployment at least doubled here as well [Arizona], and tax receipts have fallen so fast the state treasury is simply flabergasted.... they can't even imagine it won't simply get better on it's own... it CANT be this bad. FWIW, this is the biggest boom bust realestate market in the country. DAK
