What I said may not be true in America and if it is
true vs. any specific company, it was just a coincident.

I think 'tedTheTechnician' suggested the 'device I was
refering to' is called "forgiven". It's not against the
law to 'forgive', we do it all the time (the Gov.) as a
way of 'buying into influence to other countries'.

Unfortunately, those have short term result and we usually
found out that the 'influenced coutries' actually hate
us, afterward. Usually years later and after couple of
'noble prize of peace's were awarded to the government
officials who 'brokered the deal'.
