The Stern Gang was much smaller, led by Y Shamir at one point and was more violent. The Irgun's violence was directed more at the British military although there were rumours of a massacre at Dier Yassin though it was never verified.

Your refrence to boat loads of people taking over the country is woefully misplaced. Take a looks at Jane Peters book which is perhpas the most in depth analysis of the demographics in Pre Israel Palestine dating back several centuries. Peters who started the book an anti-zionist, ended with cthe conclsuion that the demographic shows a small Palestinian population that dwindled substantially until the early 20th century. Although it was certainly larger than the Jewish population at the beginning of WWII it was not as large as you apparently think. Th enotion that there has always been a homogenous Palestinian people occupying what is now Israel of even the west bank is simply false. On the other hand there is no doubt that lots of Jews emigrated to the area before and after WWII. Thats why the UN offered both peoples a partition. Even Israle' enemies agree that it was the Arabs who rejected living sideby side with jews, and attacked with the sole purpose of slaughtering all the Jews, and eradicating the new state.

The only reason you feel as you do is because of your revisionist history. Next you'll tell us all there really werent any concentration camps during WWII. read some books on the subject and then we can discuss both sides of the issue intelligently.

And again, if you want soem insight visit a few arab nations, take your wife and daughter along, and observe first hand the Islamic reverence for women, and tolerance.

And PS bring some bottled water.
