The Arab regimes in the region play a pretty good propaganda game.. They create the problems, exacerbate them, and ignore all attempts to resolve them, and then expect someone else to take the blame for the situation they played at least an equal part (IMO, more than 90%) fostering.

And when they lose territory as a result of their gambits, they expect the other side to give it back. Or even more amazing, to grant it's people, with no reciprocal security agreements, statehood. Something that they NEVER were committed towards doing themselves.

Yep... Give the Palestinians statehood, try and keep them separate and pressure them between Jordan and Israel to behave themselves and get along.

And if they get out of line, it won't be a war of against an "occupied" people (since the PA has autonomous control), but one of self defense between states.
