i would prefer a stance of independence like buchanan has taken. we go to war to protect the honor, safety, and security of our country. that would mean not waging an unjust and unconstitutional war on places such as serbia. that would mean waging war on the taliban which harbored enemies of the united states who waged war on our nation.

that is not isolationist, and neither is buchanan.
