I still think the Turks would be reluctant, simply because I don't think they see an invasion of Iraq as being in line with their interests.
Simple marketing problem. We tell them they'll get a BETTER neighbor- -and WE guarantee it and their security.
Which we already do, since they are part of NATO.

Do I believe it can be done with 250K troops? Nope. The Gulf War took 500K and this is more ambitious.

Is it a good idea? Getting rid of Saddam would be nice, but there's a potential for this thing to turn into a nightmare that makes Israel's Palestinian mess look good.
