Well, my Kodak usually holds a charge in the rechargeables for about 90-120 photos ( a typical day's shooting)... and yeah.. I shoot a ton of pics when I'm out around mills, rivers, etc.. I don't keep them all, but I shoot and discard what I don't want after I get home and download. The endurance of the rechargeables is much greater than the throw away kind once they get their first full charge before you use them for the first time. I have Ni-MH type AA batteries and I'm still on the original set that came with the camera...15 months ago..and for awhile, I was using the camera for at least 3 trips out a week. I always whip the batteries out and recharge them as soon as I get in the door so that the camera is always ready to go. Anyhow, that's how things are with the Kodak.
