That Staples anecdote is region specific me thinks, 'cause here in da middle west aka HEARTLAND, I get coupons almost daily along with $50.00 gift certs weekly, very poor and downtrodden in my neck of da woods.

of course the rest of the country may be fine but took a drive over into southern Illinois Home of the Saluki's (who just beat GEORGIA to get to da sweet 16) and it looks even dimmer than here in RUSH Limbaugh's home town.

When my crystal ball is working, I'll make a projection. I don't get paid to do that, but sometimes it happens.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to start nibbling on stocks if you have good candidates and a long time horizon.
