Kevin, your arguments hold no water. Everything I said was true. Everything you said in opposition to what I said referred not to "law enforcement" but to an abridgement of our basic freedoms. The NRA stands up for freedom by opposing the government, and those who would like to abridge freedom by the imposition of more and more laws. None of those gun laws you crave (waiting periods, computerized record keeping to track guns used by criminals, timely inspections of gun dealers) would prevent criminals from getting their hands on guns. The only people who are prevented are the law-abiding. Why is it so difficult for you to see that?
