I didn't break them out for separate indices till summer of 2000. They probably would've been extended for a while back in February of 2000.

The overall database and the SPX have stayed at relatively high levels. I had over 70 pct buys back in early February which were confirmed by the MACD signal for the SPX on Feb 13 and then again on Feb 25. The indices ran up quickly out of the base that they've yet to trigger sells on the MACD.
The large number of confirmed sell signals in the database is due to the fact that the MACD histogram, or price phase, is also declining for most stocks.
