February's good construction weather and government helped employment in CA. Yet, the critical service sector continued declining.
Employment in services posted the largest decline, down 17,600 jobs. More than 75 percent of the loss was in the business services sector (advertising, personnel supply services, computer programming, etc.).
This is the sector which will cause the second half of the recession.
