It's also not fair you get the answer while I am only 15 % downloaded, but then Darwin said life wasn't fair.

Good stuff on Pitney...I didn't realize he wrote so many good tunes.

What about Wild Bunch and The Professionals? Really liked El Dorado; thought Caan was so cool with his good knife work and lousy shotgun approach.

? Smith/Wesson 45 cal? Anyway, the answer you want is silver.

Kimosabe...Saber is "to know" in Espanol...mayhaps "Kemo knows" "What do you mean we, Paleface?")

William Tell Overture.

Tonto's Horse... I dunno.

Get'em up,Scout.

Wharfie Willberry

PS...Bonus answer...Tonto's real name was Jay Silverheels. They really like silver on that show.

winner and still champ of NNBM mystery theatre...
clappoguitarro!!

great information on gene pitney. all stuff
i didn't know.

Anyone have any titles for me?

Any favorite old time Westerns?

the first two that come to my mind are
SHANE! and The Oxbow Incident but there are
100s. i mention those because they were
great character builders for me as a kid.

interesting you'd mention high noon...
it was on tv last night and i watched
the whole movie again. i very rarely
ever watch two hours worth of tv anymore
unless it's sports. high noon is a classic
but i'd only give it one thumb... it's not
THAT great.

What type of bullets did the Lone Ranger use?
What does Kimosabe mean?
What was the name of Tonto's Horse?
What was the name of the theme song that they played?

1) silver

2) we have an old movie theatre here that's been
renovated and is used as a performance theatre
now. it's where leo kottke performed saturday
night. the name of the theatre is the "KiMo"
(a combination of two words literally meaning
"mountain lion" but more liberally interpreted
as "king of its kind"). sabe in spanish means
to know or understand so perhaps it's a
combination of those, meaning "the great one
who knows or understands."
many native american
indian languages have words and terms borrowed
from spanish that were introduced by the spanish
conquerers of the 1700s.

cabq.gov

3) scout

4) the william tell overture by gioacchino rossini

-kimosabe

ps- you can re-enter the artist, title and genre
information on that .mp3 file if you right-click
and go to "properties".
