You picked a very good day to wear a helmet. You are very fortunate. I've never understood why people don't want to wear them but perhaps that is because I've raced bikes and cars and am probably still on this planet because of one on several occasions. How many days it takes for the soreness to wear off will tell you how old you are that is for sure:)

Venkie, thank goodness your son made you wear that helmet. The school of hard knocks is no way to get a safety education. Don't push yourself too much today. It will take a while to heal, I'm sure.
