Why is it so hard to answer?

A blank check sucks...we keep paying until stupid white man decides he's had enough..i don't think so...

Why is that so hard to understand?

I think the bush operation tends to assume that the american public is stupid....that's an underlying assumption of a dictatorship that has a blank check and no clear cut objectives.

I don't think the american public is stupid, however. I tend to assume the best and brightest of them. The american public will eventually ask the tough questions and will demand answers from the dictators. Basically the bush operation is acting off of the fear of the american public.

That's OK at this point...because the masses always react in a manner which is maximal fear. I think the bush operation understands this. It's covert but it's woven in to the fine matrix that all the bush operation stands for.

Now don't get me wrong. We can blow a billion a day blowing up sand in the desert for all i care. I don't really care who gets rich off of the new helicopters and new bombs. I don't really care.

We have to all get our yahoos out one way or another. i don't think the bush operation can continue to assume that the american public will take a stick in the eye forever....however.
