Of course you wouldn't want to suggest that Christianity ever made a serious comment about Algeria being it's historic homeland. Jews such as myself know that ever since the Romans evicted us from our homeland some 2000 years ago, during Passover we conclude the service with the phrase "Next year in Jeruslsalem!" That ought to explain to some that Jews feel a relationship to Jerusalem that surpasses, America's affinity to NYC, Russia to Moscow, etc. The Romans forced us to wander the world, but they could not and did not break the dream of living in Israel. You may be right that ultimately, the Muslim populations will force Jews out of our homeland. I would not be surprised to see Israel one day turned into a killing field with the Muslims killing every single Jew (and Christian) in the land. When that comes, one thing I am sure of, Europe will be silent, you probably will supply them arms to finish the job.

Worry not Gus, I had not expectation whatsoever you'd change anything in your typing pattern. You just remind me of those Europeans Maosists in the early seventies that have all but one disappeared. And your posts have the same nostalgia as Mao's Red book, Khaddafi Green one, even though you are much more elaborate, your writing abilities are greater (yes Gus, greater) but the total is just as wrong. The only question that remains is what shall I do if someone handed me a Purim cookie telling me " Indulge, there is 'some' of Gus inside." Please help!

Nice shot. re: Vandals Meir Pail, former head of Israeli Defense Forces officers training school, describing South Lebanon after the Israeli invasion: "It looks as if it had suffered a major earthquake in the best tradition of the destruction of the Vandal conquests in ancient times or of the Mongols in the Middle Ages", a scene of "destruction and ruin" that "will be the haunting memorial which points to Israel and the IDF as inheritors of the Mongols in the Middle East."
