11:30AM: The pullback has been extended with the Dow and the S&P 500 now in negative territory. The Nasdaq is still in the black (slightly) thanks to continued strength in the semiconductor, computer-hardware, biotech, Internet and software sectors. The slide has become more pronounced among the retail (JCP-2.1%, LOW -1.5%, WMT -1.3%, MAY -1.6%, CC -1.3%), networking (CSCO +0.7% but 2.5% off the early high), drug and banking groups. Volume is moderate with market internals, like the averages, mixed. DOT +0.7%, SOX +1.7%, NYSE Adv/Dec 1409/1504, Nasdaq Adv/Dec 1588/1571
