OK if you wish to discuss "spreads", tell me please, what will be the "spread" received in 2002 ? It is 2002 that I am interested in. Do you insist that I look back to last year to find the answer to that question ?

Please, can any of the other experts on this thread pronounce on the issue, even as stated by ELIZ in this posting ? Claude, how about you ? Is the "spread" the same for gold-in- concentrate producers? i.e the difference between cash cost and the market price of gold? Are transportation and smelter charges (etc) all included in the stated "cash cost" ? The question relates to the industry and normal terminology, NOT just to NGX ?

Ah ! But here is the important question. If the price of gold increases by $10, will the spread increase by $10 dollars also ?
