I took a Forbes one month and took out every card, then tore out every page labeled an advertisement and found that the monthly Forbes was 85% or more advertisement. Canceling it felt quite good after that.

But seriously, to pursue this important topic further, have you ever noticed that most of the subscription inserts don't come out when you shake the magazine over the wastebasket? They're devilishly inserted, so they come out only when you open to the page. And then they're cleverly designed to fall in your lap or on the floor at your feet. And they reproduce, too.

I need a real world AtGuard, I suppose.
