We had an argument about the term, and at the time, it was agreed that a strong opening followed, by giving back (not even all) the gains would be termed a "gap and crap", just following accepted nomenclature. Apart of that, a decline of 1% from the top, could very well be considered "crap". We hit 1893 and we are already more than 20 points from there, 1872, as I type, and going.

The Dow is already 100 points below its morning "gap", and the Naz is ready to go red, i would call these "crap" alright, particularly in face of the fact that we had a head fake above 1880.
