The announcement isn't a surprise, particularly in the current industry environment. What would surprise me is if they actually go BK. The industry is bereft of competition at this point, as there are no major players that are healthy. Somebody is going to win the space, and MFNX is the best suited to do so. Basically, this industry turned into a cheap way for alot of the telecoms to wire the country and then pick over the bones after the boom went bust.
