Warn and powerful rally? Now somehow I don't quite catch the connection...

Basically what we used to see in the past; drops in warning season and rally into earnings....of course drops after earnings as well.
Remember that insider selling window also closes ahead of earnings.

It could mean that the Nasdaq needs to drop before a strong rally of course. I see "expected" warnings as catalysts for rallies. Unexpected warnings are what concern me. I would put Cisco, JNPR, as expected; the storage group has tanked so a warning there won't be a major surprise.

It is all what happens versus "expectations".

You have got to admit there is plenty of bearishness on the tech sector right now. Everyone seems to be talking about Nasdaq valuations. I wonder who is still buying.<g>

I got of EMLX today at 28.60 for a point and change loss. Went short at 28.16. How low will EMLX go. I think 24-25. Any thoughts. Also, who knows about a good silver manufacturing company? I've heard silver might be the investment to buy into because of dwindling supply.
