Re: Now how do we stop those folks from wrecking America by spending us stupid on all the wrong things?

ACT UP! Talk to your friends and neighbors. Get them upset. Make them mad. I've been trying and one of my Republican sisters is just about seeing red (so to speak) when I try to get sense into her pointy little head.

READ VANITY FAIR! Or get all your lady friends to do so. The April Issue has an astoundingly well written article by Marie Brenner call "The Enron Wars". Women who wouldn't touch a copy of The Nation with an eleven foot Lithuanian will read Vanity Fair because it's mainstream. But the article is completely subversive to "Stupid White Men".

MICHAEL MOORE'S BOOK is still #2 on the Amazon.com best seller list!!

Buy the book for friend for their birthdays. Give it to them for atonement on Palm Friday!

David Brock's slamming condemnation of the Right Wing lie machine is #5 at Amazon.com:

Brock's interview, discussing "Blinded by the Right" is available at C-SPAN:

ESCROW ACCOUNTS! One radical idea would be for concerned citizens to somehow create an escrow account where IRS tax payments could be deposited, and held out of the greedy and rapacious grasp of the secretive and sinister Bush Family. NO INFORMATION, NO MONEY!

READ THE TRUTH:

Avoid the corrupted corporate infotainment media propaganda. Develop new sources because the American media is nothing but a lie machine.

Here's some truthful ones:

truthout.com

Thanks for asking what we can do. Mainly we can think. That'll be a big change for the public. So I don't expect it to happen overnight. <smile>

Cordially, Ray

US warns trade dispute could spread beyond steel

The US administration has warned that strains in international trade relations could spread from steel to other sectors unless the European Union countries and Japan reflate their economies. Grant Aldonas, under-secretary of commerce for international trade and one of the architects of the decision to impose steel tariffs of up to 30 per cent, said other sectors affected could include agriculture and semiconductors.
