Some months back, we bought an HP All in One (Printer, Fax, Copier) for my brother-in-law to use when he was in town and staying at his mom's house. As it turned out, he has another HP printer that he uses at home. We found it was impossible to install the drivers for the new printer. After a lengthy call to HP, it was learned that the two printers are incompatible. It is impossible to have drivers for both installed on one's computer.

That has to be one of the more ridiculous things I have encountered in the world of computers. What morons would design a new printer that cannot be installed on a computer (read laptop) that contains drivers for a similar printer?

I will not buy another HP product.
