hmaly, I do not feel it is bribery. I feel we are more sympathetic to the Jewish cause because they have stood their ground and made it theirs no matter what was brought to bear against them by the Arabs as USSR proxies. In addition we also feel they suffered enormously in the Holocaust and never again means just that, we will not allow that to happen again. I would like to see this extended to others who suffered the same sort of racial cleansing in Bosnia, Congo and other places where the UN dragged it's feet for far too long
The Arabs can probably out spend anyone if it comes to bribing people, but it would be unconscionable to allow Israel to fall for lack of armaments.

If there was only peace the Palestinians would benefit as would Israel with all that money spent on military going into a better life for all Israelis. I agree the cleric keep that pot boiling and it will take generations for this to stop, if ever, with the old passing on the hatreds to the young. Northern Ireland is somewhat the same in this area.

They need to eliminate the intense oversight that these militant clerics have over people lives in these countries. The trouble is the tradition of watched prayer 5 times a day is hard to overcome.

In any event, any more on this must be PM based as I will no longer respond on this thread.
