Agreed, the Saudi state press is deplorable. Perhaps this is an outgrowth of Israel's constant aggression towards its Arab neighbors.

These same kinds of stories came out about OBL after 9/11 - child molesting, slavery, etc. So, it looks like the Saudi media are on occasion "medieval", as are the U.S. media.
