Ali: why did you skip NW at 2666, 2533, and 2400 MHz?
They are quite educational.

Because they were conducted with overclocked FSBs and, as the few datasets I pulled from AnandTech show, 3 datapoints are not a lot to guess a trend from, considering the error margins on the benchmarks (or benchmarkers) in question.

Arbitrary variable scaling leads to arbitrary projections, which in turn leads to arbitrary conclusions.

I'm not exactly sure I understand what you mean by this. The conclusion that quantiherz (using the current forumla) is not able to keep up with P4 real herz is, imo, not an arbitrary conclusion.

What is almost certainly wrong is the score at 2000QHz,
it should be 61.5. The rest of scores are just fine.

I disagree. Take a look at the numbers:
2100+ 62.9 1.9
2000+ 61.0 1.0
1900+ 60.0 1.2
1800+ 58.8 1.5
1700+ 57.3 1.6
1600+ 55.7 1.7
1500+ 54.0 n/a
The change in fps from each successive addition of 100 quantiherz is, and should be, a monotonically decreasing function - except for the 2100+ value. Looking at the size of the changes, the error clearly appears to be the 2100+ score, which is consistent with the BIOS upgrade (other benchmarks in the review also show a 2100+ higher than expected).

Did you ever pay attention to my exchange with pgerassi?

I was skiing in France when that particular exchange started and by the time I came back (and read any of it), it had turned rather hostile. I rarely read hostile exchanges.
