Where did you get this tidbit of information, rob?

Insider stuff?

You unadulterated speculation makes no sense since Lucent spun off Flarion and presumably kept the lion's share of the stock--as is typical in these kinds of deals. If OFDM is the Next Big Thing, why would Lucent deliver it into its archcompetitor's hands? Think you can answer that question?

So when do you think the technology will get sufficiently stable so as to not require a truck to make a call?

Good luck with your dreams. Nothing wrong with it--a lot of empires have been built with less. Realistically, however, I think you are looking at 10 before OFDM can be put on a chip and comercialized.

But by them 802b.11 will be ruling the wireless world, right?
