Seals can manage a few thousand miles in regular migrations, they should be OK.

Personally I'm a little concerned about the few million Bangladeshis who live in land which is basically a large river delta, and the few million islanders (e.g., Mauritius) who are a couple of metres from being underwater at high tide.
But hey, they don't vote.
